Goodin Ground Maintenance, a leader in the commercial landscape industry, is seeking to add an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. This role is crucial to our operations, providing accurate and timely estimates for our landscape operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in successful commercial landscape, maintenance and irrigation estimating. This individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, handling a variety of tasks with flexibility and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Proficient in eTakeoff or similar estimating software.
- Collaborate with our team and our clients to align project’s scope and budget.
- Maintain accurate records of current pricing, costs and historical data for future bidding information.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Primary point of contact during the estimating process, addressing questions, VE and hitting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial landscape estimating, or similar field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong business accumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, eTakeoff software and landscape estimate systems.
- Construction estimating: 3 years (Required)
