Position Summary:
The primary role of the Landscape Operations Manager is overseeing all on-site aspects of
landscape installation and construction project execution. Ensuring allotted labor
requirements, contractual expectations are met as well as ensuring exceptional quality in
the finished product. Embracing and exhibiting the 3 CORE Goodin Ground Maintenance
values of QUALITY, TEAMWORK and LEADERSHIP. A positive attitude, exceptional
people-skills, good communication skills and a keen eye for details are required for your
success as a member of the Goodin Ground Maintenance Management TEAM. Daily
interactions with members of the management and operations TEAM for ensuring quality
assurance as well as coaching opportunities as essential with the goal of continuing to
move company forward
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the onsite execution of landscape installation/ Construction projects
- Coordinate with the Landscape Administration/ Director of Operations in regards to
project planning, scheduling, material ordering and delivery, ensuring the
completion within the project deadlines. - Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project including material marking and layout and installation plan review and preparation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings and specifications to delegate/
Complete required project work. - Supervise, coordinate and schedule the day-to-day work activities of a landscape
TEAM(s) of 3 or more TEAM members - Delegate job tasks to TEAM members to assist in completion of landscape projects
- Ensure all receipts/ tickets are turned in and assigned to proper project/ job.
- Manage and monitor LMN on a daily basis in regards to hours and other key
functions. - Train and develop new landscape TEAM members for essential job tasks and functions embracing the company culture of Show. Tell. Do.
- Encouraging the overall morale of the TEAM. Applying crisis and conflict management skills as needed for conflict resolution.
- Ensure safety, quality and productivity of work at sites and efficiencies at the beginning and end of the day at the jobsites as well as the shop when loading and unloading for the day.
- Safely operate various tools, equipment, chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
- Ensure and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating equipment and tool cleaning on a daily basis.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of landscape storage buildings and areas of the shop.
- Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment and jobsites.
- Ensure that all work activities of the TEAM are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and that all TEAM members are in compliance with company safety and PPE requirements.
- Attend various required client safety and planning meetings.
- Communicate as needed with clients via phone or email in a polite and courteous manner.
- Communicate with management TEAM on daily basis with a daily summary sent to all members of management.
- Participate in weekly management TEAM meetings.
- Participate in scheduling functions of job board in production room.

Requirements:
- Requires a high level of computer literacy, including expertise in Excel, Outlook and
Word and the LMN platform - Requires the ability to interact with all levels of the TEAM.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Bilingual is a plus.
- Basic problem solving and conflict management skills are essential.
- Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs Frequently.
- Valid and insurable Indiana Driver’s License.
- Valid DOT medical certification.
- Working hours outside of a typical 40-hour week on a routine basis.
